MY DAD

I took this picture but it was many many moons ago. I found a little tiny copy of it while cleaning out some things in my sons playroom. One day I hope to find the negative so I can get a better print made.

I loved my Dad, and still do. Even though it has been almost 12 years to the date of my fathers passing, I still feel as though he is here with me. He was a very humble man that spoke when he had something to say. He wasn't one to pass out compliments but I know he would be very proud of my accomplishments as a wife, a mother and a business woman.

Thanks for letting me share a piece of my Dad, Leo.

Getting back to the Christmas theme..........beautiful, delicious peppers!

I know people just look at me nuts sometimes when I whip out my camera and take pictures of poor innocent peppers or the like!

So I am running behind....mmmmm.....well what can I say, I do take a picture every day but posting seems to be my problem.

This image is sure to making you go mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I was driving to Linens N Things to see how low the close-out has gone and saw this truck with black birds practically covering the entire bed of the truck. It was sitting in the IHOP parking lot. People started swarming the truck before I found a spot to park. By then the birds had cleared and I could see why it was such a haven for these nasty little creatures.

I give you..........two dead deer in the back of a truck. I decided to crop so you don't lose your lunch, dinner or your general stomach contents.

I am sorry if this is disturbing, I told you some images would be totally random and how can you get more random than this!

A Lone Red Leaf

I ventured out my door today to a pile of leaves (thanks Kansas wind) and there was this one little red leaf amongst its former fellow friends. I decided to play it up a bit in honor of the holiday season.

Day 3

Okay, note to self.....do not do this so late at night! This totally was not the image I (nor my son) wanted to use for today's post. BUT tired and frazzled me, I deleted the image I took at the grocery store tonight.

SO I present to you...........CANDY...........we all love it, crave it, must have it!

The story behind this is simple. Q-trip! Every Wednesday I pick my son up from school and we make a stop at QT for me a coffee and him a slushy (sour pucker apple) and a quick bit of sugar for him (I am trying to win the Mommy award) before we head off to his piano lesson. So, being the dedicated person I am, I had my camera in my purse and took a quick snap....just in case I didn't make it any where else today OR so that when I deleted all the other images on my memory card I would have this as a back up!

Okay, maybe tomorrow will be more inspiring, for now.......GOOD NIGHT!

December 2

I love me a stack of wine glasses. So here is one with a fun twist.

Day 1....December 1, 2008

THE BELLS

My son and I decided at dinner to start this challenge so we decided to mark our first day with the Holiday Bells at a restaurant here in Wichita called Old Chicago.

A Daily Vision

A Daily Vision is a challenge...one of a personal nature that was brought to me from my friend Todd who also is a Photographer. It is a challenge to photograph something every day. Now my friend is challenging himself to do this every day for the rest of his life. My challenge...is for a month and we will see how that goes.

Some images will be photographed with my point and shoot, others with my PRO camera and lense. Some images will be photographed by me....some by my 8 year old son, Corbin. These will be random at best!

So let the games begin...........
